Rockcastle Riverside is the culmination of years of dreaming, hard work and preparation.  John has always had a passion for music. From playing drums in his church's band as a teenager to running an outdoor music park in the hills of Eastern Kentucky, he has always found a way to bring music into his life.  For years, he and his children, Jessica and David, talked about building the ultimate outdoor venue. They wanted a place that musicians could feel at home, and people could come to enjoy both nature and art.

After a successful career running a scrap company, John Hamilton decided it was time to make this dream a reality. When he found this piece of land, he knew it was the ideal place to dig in and build a place  like they had always talked about.
